Release notes for September 2025

ArcGIS Location Platform new features, updates, improvements, and bug fixes included in the September 2025 release.

New features

  • Basemap sessions, a new means to meter basemap tile usage. A basemap session is a timeframe for up to 12 hours during which a single user of a single application can use a session token to access unlimited basemap tiles from the Basemap Styles service. A free tier of 1,000 basemap sessions is provided with each monthly billing cycle.
